If the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series and 2007 BMW M6 could talk trash, things would get ugly in a hurry.
The big-bore Benz would snort something about its 465 pound-feet of grunt, the kind of power that would leave the Bimmer's flame-surfaced sheet metal in a smoldering pile on the road. The high-strung M6 would make a remark about the Benz's boy-racer fender flares, silly bodywork vents and decidedly uncivilized exhaust note.

I say G-Power.
If the MB is AMG, than BMW should be Hamann, Schnitzer, etc.
M6 is a granturismo, its not built for comparing to an almost race car like that. Or put a G-power there and lets see... Anyway this MB is very good.

G-Power's top speed is above 372KPH and it has more than 740hp.
Another thing: SLR McLaren consumes all its fuel within 19 minutes on top speed.

Well, you see, that's why BMW is more successful. They focus more on the common driver and great driving experiences, rather than making an insanely powerful engine. Not to mention that the C63 AMG is an epic fail compared to the new M3 E92.
Sorry bud, BMW has already passed that point.

I think this was fair:
'AMG' belongs to MB (Mercedes-Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach GmbH).
'M' belongs to Bmw (BMW Motorsport GmbH).
Carlsson, Brabus etc are the equivalent of Hamann MS, AC Schnitzer etc

Mercedes has any always will dominate BMW. Mercedes have better engineers and know how to combine performance with comfort. BMW tends to focus on being 'sporty' and target a younger audience. However, it is very sad to see both companies cutting corners and deceiving their customers as being 'German made' as some of their models such as the 3 series and C class are being manufactured in South Africa! This has gone on since 1995 if i recall correctly. Stop being slack and make them in GERMANY!

Being made in South Africa doesn't constitute in a change of the brand of the car. The brand is German, supervision is done by germans, the work is done by germans. Ir doesn't mean the car isn't german. It's like buying a Toyota assembled in America (which, for your information, are) and saying it's an american car. It isn't, it's Japanese, only assembled in another place.

i've driven my moms 55AMG and in a straight line that car just blows your mind and when i drive my dad E46 M3 it feels like a race car i love them both lol
but this test seemed a bit unfair, that benz is a Black series... isn't that like comparing "M3 CSL" to a regular m3
both cars are in the same class but i don't thing the M6 is as focused as the CLK

i didnt say which manufacturer is more successful. i just said that benz builts better cars. and in my opinion, a bmw is expensive too. its still too expensive for the common driver and maybe its sporty, but the great driving experience delivers benz... there is nothin comparable to driving eg. a e class benz... no bmw gives that feeling. and the c63 is not an epic fail, its just a car for rich people, who like 'small' cars with big engines. it does its job very well, better than the e92...

BMW is ranking higher now over Benz. The E92, as well as all BMW's, has near perfect 50/50 weight balance, delivering speed that isn't thwarted by car weight, with the perfect balance. That will enable it to deliver a much smoother ride. The AMG engine makes the front of the car heavier, taking away performance. Benz will never produce a car that thwarts BMW handling and ride comfort. With the E92 and C63, no one can argue that the full performance of the E92 reigns supreme over the C63. Sorry.

lol its funny you should ask that the 3 of us always want to take my moms car on road trips but we cant because its a slk and only has 2 seats, lol so we have to take my dads car. the back seats are ok but on those long road tips we take to California or Canada it get kinda annoying

the 335I is faster, better handling then any mb 300/320/350. The same case with the ML-series. In europe the beamer wins fast any competition with MB when i't comes to performace and handling.
