Moore is the bomb. My credit report would be clear if it weren't for medical bills from institutions who did not in any way shape or form "treat" me- yet chose to bill me for their non-treatment. (Remember the lady who waited in the ER for 19 hours without seeing a Dr. & was charged $120.00?)

You hate the Socialists and Communists, and for this you do not like the term nationalize. But some services such as health, education, security should be public. In Europe the health (and not only) is free and I do not think that European countries are socialist own. In the Swiss health is private but with 400 euros a year any medical expenses are covered. So this is not socialism or capitalism but only sense, which is often made by economic interests.

I saw a piece on CNN yesterday, talking about a couple that had gotten billed $700,000 for operations to save their newborn. The baby ended up dying, and the couple then recieved this 700,000$ bill. One day in hospital cost $30,000! This couple was rather well off and they are now broke and bankrupt. ROFL at U.S health care indeed.

One payer system is the only way to go.
Private health insurance is a private tyranny that only exists in United States. It's a rather barbaric system that tells you you're health is only worth what you can afford.
People in United States should get behind, and support, HR 676. If you don't know what it is learn about it! GM & Ford are going bankrupt because of the rising cost of health care. If United States had single-payer system, the companies wouldn't have to worry about it.

You know when he started making this documentary he saw that hypocrisy and did something about it. He does 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day, and if you watch his interview with Bill Maher about Sicko you can clearly see he is in much better shape and explains it in more detail.

Saying that health care in Europe is Free is simply a LIE. Tell that to the taxpayers in those countries. With socialized medicine you will not be denied care by a corporate bureaucrat BUT you will be denied care by a government bureaucrat. Fuck you. My family is a hardworking middle class family yet still, because the way our system "works", my brother died. We payed the bills sure, but because our system is based on money and not helping the sick, my brother, at three years of age, died. How about you try living in these countries w/ socialized medicine before you criticize it. Here in Canada, yes we may have to pay a little more in taxes, but that way we'll be ensured that we'll get care no matter what. Paying a little more doesn't take the shit out of us, so why are so many Americans like you bitching about paying a little more? Don't give me that crap exuse of paying for "lazy" people. I have had experience with the system in Britain. I've seen the rationing of health care through long wait times and by the simple DENIAL of care for ailments not on a list approved by the government. (a list that keeps getting shorter and shorter) . You end up paying for 2 health care systems, the public one and a private one. The warning I gave was only for Americans. Americans who have seen the incompetence of bureaucratic ineffective govt agencies that do little more than suck up money.

My God! I just bought the DVD and I watched the movie. I saw how the US health system is (although it seems there is not a real one unique) but I still don't understand the following: WHY? Why they do that to people? Unbelievable, I am just suprised and shocked.
