I live in a border city, and I can assure you there are not swarms of Canadians coming over here for health care. This video is wonderful, but ever since 1994 the Democratic Party is too timid to push for REAL universal health care. Another problem is Rush Limbaugh shoveling BS about UHC for 3 hours every day. I think what it's going to come to is everyone giving the current nonsystem the finger and REFUSING TO PAY MEDICAL BILLS to force a collapse.

I did not mean to be harsh but its just why have wars for the sake of war while many Americans need help . Take the money and help them not try to bring Democracy where it is not wanted.

Universal Healthcare is about as unamerican as it gets. I highly doubt the founding fathers of this country would have ever created a government welfare program that ensured at least a 15-30% tax on every citizen. Let me keep my money and I'll find good healthcare on my own. Thank you very much.

Your right, but its not correct to say "You Americans". Most Americans hate the state our country is in. I hate the fact that we are fighting a pointless war costing trillions of dollars.

I dont know what any of you guys are talking about. The US healthcare system is ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE for anyone who is an illegal immigrant that speaks no english. Hell, if you fit in that category, certain places even gift you 6-figure salaries (untaxable of course). Just ask any of our vast population of refugees our govt has welcomed over the past 10 yrs

1. Health care is a business. They can't just give it out free!
2. Universal health care is not financially feasible in ANY country in the world, no matter how wealthy the country is. Look at Denmark and Canada! Every country that has a "universal health care system" is having to either get rid of it, or significantly reduce its coverage.

Universal health care is NOT feasible, but BASIC universal health care is. There may be a high cost for several generations after its establishment, but in the long run preventative measures are much cheaper than curative ones.
