This is something that I don't talk alot about, It has been a few years and I have been working on the recover of brain-washing a lone, because there is little to no help for people that have stumble into a cult and than try to understand how to put my life back together without help, because there is no specialized network to help...I am ready to go pubic on my views about it. I may just need to be heard...and that's all that I need.

Not only mind control but CROWD CONTROL. They want to stop you from using critical judgment and they say that your very criticism of the program is the behavior that needs to be fixed. Right wingers and fascists!
They are sales people that like us are having trouble living on "unliveable wages" in the US.
The United States is brainwashed not only by Landmark Education type groups but most media as well.

Mmmm....amazing. Reminds me of a friend of mine who is now a zombie because she was brainwashed by the HERBALIFE cult. She lost everything- money, friends, LIFE, and still thinks she's saving the world from all illnesses with those shitty overpriced vitamins. All non- Herbalifers are unenlightened and to be won over or avoided (including family) to her.

A few years ago my friend invited me to go to some sort of friends and family night at LM. I saw through the BS immediately and decided to "F" around with them. When they split us up into little groups I kept asking questions they didn't like. Also, I kept texting with my husband the whole time. I got up and walked out in the middle of one presentation. I'm sure they have me on some blacklist somewhere. My poor friend, however, still hasn't really gotten her life together after all that. LM=BS.

This woman is brave, and she knows what she's talking about. So many people have been messed up by this company's so called education. What they do is using an effective mind control technique to break people down, without taking any responsibility for the consequences. In result, those who fail to become devotees/salesmen for the Forum often end up depressed and/or experience psychotic episodes. Many of them take their own lives. While Landmark "Education" makes some more money.

Here's what you all need to know: I was posting on someone's promotional clip and after a couple of back and forths, she blocked me. Other promo videos only allow you to post comments pending approval. There's no room for debate. There's no room for critical questioning. Notice how there are hardly ever any non-stellar reviews? Notice how all the stellar reviews are almost identical, practically scripted? Wake up people. LM is not the answer. It actually becomes part of the problem.

sablechicken, the Chinese government just invited Landmark Education to do a pilot program for grade schools students. I don't have the details of this but Landmark is becoming more and more widely recognised for having a valuable, valid and useful product and to be a trustworthy company that stands behind what it promises. That has been my experience of purchasing it's courses as well. AND like anything in life...it is not for everyone.

My sister talked me into the Forum. I walked away a skeptic. My Sis'll probably raise her kids on the Forum and believ every breakthrough in her life is due to the Forum. She admitted that there's weirdness in the Forum, but that she's savvy enough to draw on the positive teachings and ignore the crap. Well, it's her life.
I think the Forum is a dangerous for profit outfit. Before there ever was a Forum, many people still found success and happiness. It's not for me

A friend of mine is paying four or five thousand EUROS every year to those people. I have been to the intro as well and it is simply using the weak parts of the people and finally the participants become depending on that 'thing' for their mental stability...

My ex - a damaged individual with anger and neurotic problems - is a LF follower. After two seminars she became much more aggressive and angry at my Christian faith. I expected her problems to lessen but that didn't happen.
Some of their staff may work just like any self-improvement activity works. But the deception that lies around the money and the brainwashing system within Landmark speaks more about the sick needs of modern man/woman than it does for this cult itself.

Landmark 'Education' (guess why quotation marks) is banned in France as a cult. It is really a corporation that is making a lot of money by psychologically manipulating sad, depressed, unhappy and unstable people. It is extremely dangerous as their abuse of psychiatry results in people who are stripped off their individuality (they esentially become parrots who keep on repeating phrases 'taught' at this business cult)
