| I've seen another video which was sort of 'vlog' Goertzel did. He mentioned there is probably no one facet to the concept of the human-level mind. But I think the problem of the combinatorial explosion would be probably the closest thing to what needs to be solved; the fact/experience that one facet of a system gets too carried away. |

| The videos don't get many views because they are not advertised in any way I have ever seen. I found this by accident. Also, how many people are interested in AI that also think about finding out more and then think about looking for it on youtube and can also speak English that aren't already in the field? About 780 people it would seem. |

| I take it that machines and economics are already taking human jobs/homes/ect making more people poor and less people rich.i also take it that 1 day THERE will be androids with the collective memory of the super A.G.I (I-robot isent new and based on an older book)so when the agi gets to the egsistance of VR and RL and when its connected into everything we use/live/ect will we just be plugged into your idea of the future...millions of mindless slaves to live and be connected to a virtual life??? |

| First, you don't get rich by taking poor people's money (they don't have any)/ Second, the same responses were made when the car, factory, electric light or movie reel was introduced. If you want to be a mindless slave and get "plugged it" (?) be my guest. I aim to use this advanced technology to enhance a very human life that gives us more time for people relationships. |

| If that reply was meant to be "deep" or enigmatic it failed. The biggest problem with an automated society is the loss of first-hand knowledge. The current generation is undoubtedly the most ignorant in history in terms of basic needs but that's because technology has relieved us from having to retain that knowledge. Technology can be as liberating as it is stifling - it all depends on the user. |
