When a politician lies to you, don't take it personally it's just what they do,
It's how they communicate, I must speak out for them before it's too late
Politicians hold your love dear, they only tell you what you want to hear
And they never admit to a mistake, they think that any weakness you will hate
So, hold a politician close to you, run your fingers through their hair
Let them know that you love them so, and they will lie with style and flair
Because that's how politicians show they care.
Politicians are sweet and pure, but they're also very insecure
They need your love and your respect too, and that is why they lie to you
Never answer a question, just give a speech, hold the truth just out of reach
And always smile on the outside, whilst tears well up on the inside
So, hold a politician close to you, run your finger through their hair
Let them know that you love them so, and they will lie with style and flair
Because that's how politicians show they care.
So, hug a politician today, give them your vote and help them stay
In their chosen career, and they'll whisper the sweet lies you want to hear
Let them lead us like the sheep we are, hear them lie from near and far
And you'll know that they love you, but best of all they'll tell you what to do.
So, hold a politician close to you, run your finger through their hair
Put your hands around the fuckers throat, and squeeze out any life that you find there
Go on you can do it if you dare
Show a politician that you care.
