Ill-conceived Coin Experiment

Video Description:
I went to Magic Mountain in Valencia, California this weekend with some friends from Australia. We decided to find out if a coin will really hover above your hand while dropping on the Freefall ride. We miscalculated the effect of plummeting inside a giant steel box. The camera fell to the floor but was, fortunately, undamaged.
Thanks to Brendan Watts for the ace camerawork.

mythbusters proven that a penny can't do much damage at terminal velocity so i don't think someone would be hurt real bad because of it

They did the penny off the Empire state building and they proved you can't kill someone doing that... nor most likely could you do it with a quarter... it would hurt and most likely make you draw blood but 90% says it would not do much more... unless you have some sort of a condition or your very old...
