I deeply respect Moore's work, but increasingly I see outspoken liberals, as stated here, "Trying to save the Democrats from themselves." If that party is so willfully inept and uncommitted to taking up their mandates from the voters, WHY do we put so much energy into performing CPR on them? Why don't we defect en masse to a 3rd party that wants the support? If everyone stopped assuming that you can't elect a 3rd party candidate stopped believing that in the same election, we would get change
