If you refering to the smooth power delivery as "sucks" then you must not really know what "trackability" is then either. Besides if you gotta have a big hit in the power change the pipe, add the pipe into the financing, yup you can do that ya know I got a white bros carbon pro (ya ya just happens to be the most expensive pipe)and OMG! that wicked smooth power is VASTLY amplified. I would never buy anything else. best engines, by far the best suspension in the world and super light weight.

yeah im sure they have tractability but i have heard they are too mellow from several people. and honda has the best suspension, not yamaha.

Far from it... FAR FAR from it, pick pu motocross action, trans world motocross, dirt dike and dirt rider, Honda was rated 4th to 5th place in suspension. dont beleve me email any one of them mags and ask them streight up. Yamaha will go down in history for the best production suspension ever. Don't belive me... read the proof!!

man....i have the dirt rider IN MY HANDS! yamaha took first and honda is a close second. honda has never taken a 4th or 5th. why do you think honda has won the 250 shootout 2 years in a row and 2005? define good suspension..... what does good suspension mean anyways? i have ridden all of the big 4 and ktm and i like the honda the best. yamaha is too plush for me. theres no such thing as "the best suspension" its all rider preference. you cant read a mag and say mines the best cause it says so!

A:This is works stuff when compared to the other brand's components. It is awesome! Best out. Yamaha's test department is the best in the business when it comes to spring rates, damping and overall suspension feel. Give them a raise.

lol oops hit enter too soon... anyway that was on the 125, i was tring to find the shoot out of the 450;s on the site but that issue has passed. Belive it was Jan. issue, Yamaha rated first in suspension.

i have the 2007 250 shootout in my hands now and it has a human impression chart, which really matters and it has average-good-excellent.the yamaha has 1st for about the first eighth then honda stays higher than any bike the rest of the graph. hold on i have another message

this is straight from the book...." the suspension action on the CRF is great. the front and rear have the best progressive feel out ofthe group on all terrain and never failed to gain high marks. they seemed to span the largest gap of rider weights and ability levels with only minor adjustments.
Yamaha's handling has been consistent in the last few years. high speed stability is king on the blue bike and its suspension action seems to follow the frame's preference for speed. the faster the----

faster the bike is going, the happier it is. it's stable and goes straight. the yz-f has taken some flak for mediocre turning in the past and those complaints follow the bike into 2008. right from dirtrider january 2008.

well you must be slow. because the FAST riders, want the suspension as plush as they can get it.
i'd hate to break it to you, but you go faster in a straight line rather than dancing around in all directions down a straight away.

well YOU must be slow and be garbage at whoops and jumps. i bet your the goon that just rips in straight lines, but then a corner comes and sits down drags a foot back and putts around like a 13 year old on a 250. dont you think something sounds fishy saying that "you must be slow because you ride a honda and im so fast because i ride a yamaha, it has plush suspension so it goes perfectly straight and hondas just dance around everywhere." everyone rides hondas now for a reason
