I get the difference between culture and politics but it is the culture that dotes on the men......I have several girls who by the way are persian...and everyone just asks "Where is the boy?" I am sure your husband really wants a boy!" Until you have walked in a girls shoes you will not get this!

I love our culture...but it still has its flaws...and yes it is frustrating at times....but the media and at times Iranians themselves have perpetuated this....we long for the persia we have seen and been told about....but in reality it no longer exists..at least not for now! Things change and you can have that culture in your own family but I think when we talk about culture we have to also discuss that each family has their own culture....

Iran never change d, arabs wanted to change iran for 600 years ! mongols for more than 100 years and .. but after all none of them could ;) < and the thing is in that time they thought that Iran is change :D ;) but after that , we returned to be the same as always . The true iran is the free iran , and countries lives is like human lives ! sometimes you have problems and you are sad and .. and someitmes you are happy and .. Iran has 7000 of these days .

no my friend ,1st of all , change is for all the times and all of the coutnreis , most of the countries have changed , and lost their identity and .. like egypt , they speak arabic , they have an arabic calndar and cultrue and .. but some like Iran , italy , greek and china .. they changed but survived , we are still IRanians , we have our own culture , which has exact the same caracteristic as before and .. and our beautiful days was not that far ;) < it was 30 yaers ago ! so dont get confused

i am iraqi but they are calling me arabs as well but our grand fathers weren't arabs we were live with the persian in peace , we speak arabic now becuz of the islamic expansion but even thoug i like iran and iraq and iran almost has the same culter
