yeh dude totally agree! altho I'm not gonna pretend AMD aren't on their way out... I'm running an Asus crosshair II formula with 2x8800GT's and an Athlon X2 6400 black edition (stock 3.2ghz) OC'd to 3.8ghz (I kno going higher is piss easy but I don't wanna ruin the longevity too much =P

And I don't care about the new uber 1337 expensive kickass ATI graphics card, since lower cards can play Crysis on Max Smooth. Waste of money.

Go for X-fi, 2GB low latency kits, velociraptor 150gb and a gtx260, a matching mobo and about 150-200$ cpu of any builder. Of good get some support on hoy to mount properly into a good case, both tacens victoria are good for this. 100$ psu with dual pcie connector should be ok.
