Very good performance of this wonderful motet.
Quite precise and clear, you may perhaps perform it slight more lively (only a suggestion)

Thanks for your comment! I do think it could have gone a tiny tiny bit faster, but I think the interest in the piece is in the outcome from the interaction between each part in this sort of "canon," which is best heard at a slower tempo. That kind of ebb and flow would have occurred too quickly at a significantly faster tempo.

Mark, thank you for your answer. English is not my language (and in fact I see an error
in my previous message :) ), so my comment was not very precise. I was thinking about varying a little more the dynamics and the texture, but after listening to the same video on your site (better quality), it's clear that the recording does not do you justice. I will carefully listen to all your videos.
Do you ever perform my much beloved Josquin?

Hello again!! Ah. We get reprimanded sometimes for under interpretation, I kind of like it underinterpreted. You hear the music as it is.:)

Yes we do sometimes, although haven't recorded it yet. Do you perform this music as well? Where are you from?

Hi, I'm from Italy, and (unfortunately) I'm not a musician, but of course a big music lover.
I listen to this music mainly from CD's, but I was lucky enough to attend two concerts of the Tallis Scholars in Cremona (northern Italy), and it was amazing.
No live video of Josquin here on YouTube? :)

Ah. Yes, I very much like the Tallis Scholars.
There might be some josquin clips on youtube, but none from RS yet.
