people should know that parachute malfunction is very common
it happened on my first flight too!
that's why we always have a second parachute
but having a double malfunction is very rare
so be ready for the unexpected
and never panic!!!

well a malfunction isnt that common... one of my instructors has over 8000 jumps, and he had his first emergency after the 6500th jump.... but you know... it's just luck...

yeah the DZSO where i work said that a malfunction is very common cause you will at least get line twists (which is a malfunction) lol i'm a crazy werido cause i wasn't scared and i didnt get any line twists... I was very lucky and very keen to do it again (hence why i work at the DZ now)

i think it was 1 of 65 000 has a malufunction.. :) well.. thats the number for the military.. dont know for private skydiving.. always remember to pack it properly :)
