Mine is horizontal and im still seeing scratches. I do not understand how I am getting scratches on mine even though it is horizontal. The scratches are not forming in a perfect ring but rather incomplete rings all over the place. Does anyone know if is possible to get this fixed without a warranty? I am thinking of getting a new console or bringing my console to 360pros.

uh... both consoles are unique in their own way, its all about the games. Xbox has good exclusives and RPGs. I never said ps3 is way better but I always like Playstation a little more, much more fun system but xbox to me also has great games. Im considering buying the ps3 IF the prices go down already. Damnit Blueray, you suck!!!
