i have almost the same specs as him except i use a 8800gt, i get around 15-30 fps depending where i am sometimes even up to 45 in non graphic intensive areas. Play it at 1280x1024

amd 3.0-3.2 is just flat out slow game based but if you want a budget computer, go for it. if you have the balls to save a bit more, intel is you best bet. sources prove it too.,. everyone bitching about amd beasting are what you call fanfucks. amd is real good budget priced tho. so 3.0 + 8800gt(1) will run okay til a few months

The x2 6000+ is faster in games that don't use more than two cores. Games like Supreme Commander and GTA IV are core hungry, so expect better performance there with an x3 or x4. As things are right now in games like COD4, Fallout, ect..., a fast dual core is better for gaming than a lower clocked x3 or x4.
