all those champ you mention were champ in the 19th century, not in the 20th century.

Many of years later (when there was suppose to be less racism), when Ali won the gold medal in 1960, he was still ban from the restaurant in his home-town.

Rahman was decent for a short time. He stopped sanders and then ko Lewis immediately. After he ko Lewis, he never seemed motivated and that why loss the remacth. He might get motivated for the Wladimir fight.
