Using a program called CORRUPT to...well, corrupt a ROM. There are many odd results caused by it, as you would imagine.
I got a lot of my inspiration to do this from Foxblitzz.

I don't think it was the flagpole that froze up iteration 5. You'll notice that the tune of the frozen song is different from the star song. I think it froze when you went back to normal mario.
