The comparisons to Paul Potts is obvious and I'm sure it was in the minds of the judges on the panel.
Still, there are a lot of differences. Neal's voice is a much closer match to Luciano Pavarotti. The timbre and range is very similar. Neal's voice is still raw and he was fighting his emotions and nerves, but with a bit more training and confidence, look out. He's only going to get better.
I look forward to seeing how his career unfolds.

The song is "Nessun Dorma". It is a classical piece composed by Giacomo Puccini and many singers have done it, including Lucianno Pavarotti.

he is Ok at best. The high note is good, but the rest of it isn't that great, in fact he went flat there in the middle. He is good for a normal person, but not that great for an opera singer.

It's incredible how people claps and cheers at him before he even starts singing expecting him to sing well just because he's so fat!!!
The opposite exactly of what happened with Paul Potts, who everyone expects to sing awful just for his weird face... And get really surprised at the end!!!
