From birth, a human 'is', and then it begins to unlearn this basic being through education. After years and years of building on this identity, the basic being is almost totally obscured and only revealed through activities that are perceived as 'animalistic'.
I feel there should be a balance.
our thoughts, feelings, senses etc...
We are consciousness, we are awareness.
This is who we are and elevating our level of consciousness (or awareness) increases this state of being; therefore saying: I am.
"I think therefore I am" ?
According to Mr. Tolle we are the awareness who realizes it is having a thought.
We are awareness... interesting.
I just came to this very conclusion about myself last night, and here I find it on StumbleVideo.
I <3 StumbleUpon
I <3 Life
but totally right with what u said !!
And more real .. in the toltec wisdom !
Ruiz is NOT a historian and can not prove this has anything to do with the Toltecs.
The toltecs like the Aztecs were warriors, conquerors, human sacrifisers, they would either killed or enslaved anyone who was not one of them. They ruled under military principles.
That this is toltec wisdom is simply NOT true, ask any historian.
If you guys think these are good principles to live by, fine but the is NOT TOLTEC WISDOM.
I do know the history of the Toltecs and know this is not Toltec wisdom, bring out the historians.
I am familiar with Claros Castaneda's books.
Although i don't remember if he said his was Huichole wisdom, in HIS case if he was eating Peyote maybe he was right.
People should just be honest and not try to profit by deceit.
Perhaps not Toltec wisdom, but true.
Beautiful.
