I understand the satire and irony of the cover. It is actully humorous in that light. However, It does speak to a gross misconception that many americans have about the Obamas and I fear that they will remove the satire and claim it as a a conformation &vindication of those illogical beliefs and use it as further propaganda against Obama, which only removes focus from the issues and will continue to fuel this ignorance and bigotry. Such a shame!

Cone explains that BLT is based on the teachings of former Nation of Islam Leader, Malcolm X, and so-called "Black Christianity" that calls on all blacks to "kill" images of Jesus as a White man. Cone has also called white people "the devil".

Perhaps you might want to take a look at the people within your church? Maybe you don't agree with all of them? Perhaps someone wanted to burn a gay person or Muslim alive? Would you light the match?
