Dainese airbag suit for 2010

Dainese is set to release its new air-bag-equipped suits by 2010 - a full 10 years after development of the system began. Dainese's D-Tec system is the first airbag from a major protective bike cloting manufacturer, although small companies have released jackets with cruder activation systems.

wow that suits gunna help wen u get side swipped in2 on coming traffic or rammed from behind at the lights n thrown out in2 an intersection or slide head first in2 a gutter... wat a waste of time and money lol if anything it'd probably only restrict ya breathing if u come off and its one more obstacle to get by for the paramedics when dealing with a neck injury

having hit a car head on when i hit gravel on our fantasticly maintained UK roads!! this jacket wouldnt have done much except bounce me further when i landed!! as long as you wear pucker gear you can protect for gravel rash ect but for impacts into objects.cars ect its a luck thing i think. you either get away with it or you dont. broken arm in my case 3 plates and 17 screws later and a lot wiser to the dangers of gravel!!

Pretty much useless. That money would have been better spent on some intelligent protection for the legs (in this video u can see that the legs are the most vulnerable even in this scenario, and not the neck/head). Better luck with the next one.

read what you wrote, aloud, to yourself..now take your right hand, palm open, and give yourself a good smack in the face..people dont die from breaking legs..they break necks, vertebra, and skulls..thus an airbag to help prevent such tragedies
