What makes Pokemon so great is the fact that its portable... and The addicting part of seeing ur Pokemon LV Up, The adventure, the shock of seeing a NEW pokeman and trying to catch it, Catching all the Legenderies and Battleing ur friends, the storie... meh, but when has it been about the storie, its all about gameplay...

Hey I'm 14 and i have grown up playing pokemon from a very young age like when i got Pokemon Yellow and it is the addiction of making your pokemon become the strongest and trying to overcome the weaknesses of the pokemon by "upgrading" them if you will, bye evolving into completely different forms or by giving them moves to defend against their weaknesses either ay pokemon is alot mor complicated than you actually make it out to be so actually complete the game before criticing a game, Good vid

its a very basic system, its like a game based around grinding, the most hated thing in rpg history, and there is no skill to it, water > fire etc, its a fad game, when somthing finaly overcomes the fan base of pokemon it will die so fast.

the blue version (great)
the gold version (superb) the best in the series
sapphire (so-so)FAR FROM THE OLD ONES
diamond and pearl is (not so good,far behind from gold version)

LOL pokemon jello! I'm kinda like that, where you guys were saying Sloth doesn't like Diamond and Pearl but he likes the older ones better, well this one...I'm not sure, it's just that it's getting old..I preffer Gold and Silver, the 2nd generation back on the gameboy, now it's just stupid. it's just not...classic..I think it's maybe because they keep adding like another 100 pokemon and it's just getting stupid because it's the same fucking thing..

I guess like Mario 64 being my favorite game ever, comparing that to Mario Sunshine or Galaxy, you pretty much do the same thing in all 3, collect 120 (121 in Galaxy) stars, but I guess the other ones just aren't the same, maybe because Mario 64 was like, the first one. the first one to do the collecting stars thing, the jumping into levels thing, the first Mario game to go 3D, and the first actual game to just nail 3D like it did, and the other ones just aren't the same.

well there will hbe the kids that were 6 when it came out that is gonna want to play all the games for the handheld systems because the game is nostalgic you know. and it IS fun to those guys who enjoyed it since the beginning

lol this video is pretty old but ima comment anyways for the hell of it. the reason why people like pokemon is the options that you have. its like in final fantasy when you summon your first monster, then you feel like holy crap this is fricken awesome. and the reason why people dont like the new one is 1. the story is crap 2. very cheesy 3.crap pokemon.. but the old school 1st and 2nd gen were bad ass. and this gen is still good to me just because of the detail they put into it.
