On behalf of all Windows users, I think its a safe bet to assume that Mac gets critizism simply because people wish to point out the sometimes obvious flaws in the company that likes to make out that it's top-dog.
These adverts aren't even consistant. Sometimes they say "Hi, I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC," then they could do an advert against Windows. Other times, they can say the same thing, and it could be an advert against a other PC sellers - which has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Hey, I'm a PC user. I've also used Mac. I think a lot of Mac users mistake ALL critizism to be against Mac, but sometimes its aimed towards Apple Inc as a company. Generally, PC users are very rarely jealous of Mac. Infact, this is little to never the case. People give Mac critisizm because, like I, we think it's very unfair to give your nearest and most powerful competitor such an undermined appearance in these adverts.
Oh and I've always used OS X at college. I'm never switching from Windows.

Imagine I got a game as a present from somebody. I would like to insert the CD and play the game, without having to pay just to see if it works.
All methods of using some type of platform to enable Mac to play games cost money, and it's not exactly cheap either. Take Bootcamp, needs a Windows CD. Vista at it's cheapest costs roughly £100 or $200 if you're lucky. Crossover is another option. This costs over £40 ($80). That could buy me 2 extra games.

Windows has more utilities, more freedom, more opportunity, but more risk if you know how to use a computer and not download hidden viruses PC would be pretty good.

I have a Mac notebook , i use it daily and im able to do all the work i need and still enjoy things such as music and games. I really prefer Mac , and even though they are expensive it really is worth it.

I spent 6 hours trying to make use of a pc i have by using it as receiver for a bluetooth remote to play itunes around my house.
Firstly it wouldnt even play sound, after much digging around the internet i found that some sound card drivers had to be updated. Then the bluetooth software had to be uninstalled and windows own software had to be installed. A complete far cry from the 20 mins it took me on my mac, no drivers no updates! they just work!

Driver updates are needed for out-dated hardware. Therefore it is not PC's fault that you put shit inside it.
Secondly, grow up, PC's are not just for iTunes. One problem with music that most people are never likely to encounter is a ridiculous argument.

Im just bored of every time i use a pc i come across a problem and have to scour google and then type Run:/blahblah then delve into some far file, changethe script, then update something.
A mac you just use, speakers work, problems can be solved by clicking a button, I dont have to wait 10 mins for my computer to start up. Updates just update.
It's obvious that pc users have never really tried a mac!
Cos if they had they'd realise how slow pcs are! they are just a time wasting pain in the arse!

Well thats funny, my PC speakers work fine, I've never had to install new stuff or update sound drivers, ever. I even built this thing myself and I didn't have to update drivers. Plugged it in and it just works with Windows. Have you ever thought, you might be the problem, not the computer? LOL
I don't have problems with my PC on any level. Microsoft Updates just get on with it, and my PC never crashes, maybe because I actually know how to use it. I use Mac OS X at college, I'm never swapping.

And also what has putting shite inside it got to do with anything? Im talking 3 hours of trying to find out why speakers wont work? As a mac user i wouldn't have ever thought that would be a problem, i just plug speakers in.. and magically sounds come out! the problems with pcs dont stop at itunes!
And my bluetooth plug. just plug it into a mac and it works with whatever! the pc i had to install software find out its not compatible, the uninstall it and search for some xp bluetooth for an hour!

Maybe thats because your comparing software that was released in 2001, to software that was released several years later. Bluetooth didn't even exist on the release of Windows XP. It's not comparible to the Modern Day advances of OS X. Yet somehow, even with all the years advantage, I can't do anything new on a Mac. Just all the old stuff, with a little nice interface to navigate, with buttons all on the left when I'm right handed, and a useless minimize button when I use msn. o_O

Is that your come back, maybe its something to do with me, but its not, i no quite a bit about computers. See you built it yourself.. mac is there for you works out of a box, comes with software.if you have no problems with pc on any level and it never crashes, then you truly are 1 in a million. or give it a couple of years and see then!
Oh and great job on Vista! that truly was amazing, so amazing that everyone still wants to use XP! cos same old story... nothings compatible with it!

Easy, yes, Simple, yes, quick and effeciant, no. Not for right handed people who use it anyway. Unless you only ever use Mac is it easy, but I swap operating systems every single day (windows at home, mac at college)
part of my course is to troubleshoot computers.... so why do they give me a Mac? Macs are not flawless..
Vista is riddled with problems yes, and for your info this pc was built in 2004. thats almost 5 years old. Its been half a decade. I dont think it needs much longer to crash.
