Mr David Cameron amazed me with his speech. I am astounded and I salute you for mentionning all labour's critical points which hazards Britain's future, however and -with all respect to your political passion -do you believe you can do better, do you believe you can analyse, prevent and improve Britain's future if so then I welcome you as the next Britain's PM whom can spend money wisely and be the Rock upon which Britain may rebuilt its church.

In 2006 Cameron says "This Chancellor is mortgaging the future of the UK". That was in 2006. We are now borrowing even more. The public debt is just insane. Where did all the extra taxes that were rasied go? Nightmare.

Whilst I am not a supporter of the labour party, Britain's debt is not as bad as it seems. It is only approximately 40% of its GDP, which is much lower than many developed nations including Japan, USA, Italy, France and much more. In fact, I would consider it amongst the best.

no one has worse debt than the USA.. Almost 2 trillion dollars (a 1.2 trillion pounds) of debt...thank you President Bush!!!! The problem is Americans dont give a smack about this because they dont even know. So unlike in Britain or other nations, where people are educated abotu government and you have debates and public spectacles like these, congress is a flat out joke where nothing gets done and bores people to death...

That is untrue about America's debt. America's debt in proportion to its gdp is only around 60 odd percent. This is still much less than Japan and Italy.
However, the big problem with Bush's admin, was that they accumulated a deficit at good economical times. And now we are having bad times, their economy will simply spiral down.
I would agree with u on the politics in whitehouse, and I would probably blame the media for that. Compare Fox News to BBC and ppl will c a distinct diff

i know it doesnt have the WORST debt, i was a little exuberant and sarcastic in that comment. What i really meant to say was that its debt is pretty bad, and, as you said, bad economic times aggravate this problem.
Yes the media is partially to blame, but they are running a business, and they give the people what they want, so its more of a social problem. People want american idol, mindless stuff. the BBC is amazing and all american news is crap, they just spin the same crap differently.
