When that phone rings in the White House at 3 am in the morning who do want answering it? Simple as that. A quick decision has to be made. Who can make it? Look past the false promises, fancy talk, shocking ads. Ask yourself who is more capable of handling the job of being president. Not based on race or gender or even speeches. Vote for who you truly think and feel in your heart will do the best job. That is who should get your vote whether it be Obama or Clinton. Who will do the best job?

By your logic we should have stayed in Vietnam. Because many have lost their lives is NO argument for continued war AND CONTINUED DEATHS OF YOUNG AMERICANS. Bush was 'strong and tough' and that is exactly what has gotten us where we are (in a big gigantic mess). What is the state of our nation when intelligence and articulate speech is seen as a negative quality in a presidential candidate? Please, do us all (but most importantly yourself) a favor by quietly removing your head from your ass.

Do yourself a favor and get your head out of the clouds and come back to reality? The republicans and the democrats hardly ever agree on anything. It is not in their nature. Anyone who believes they ever will by holding their hands is living in a dream world. Al Quada will not just lay down their weapons and stop fighting trying to gain control b/c someone who is an articualte speaker asks them to. It just will not happen. To even entertain such an idea is naive and just plain stupid.

We dont live in a perfect world where you can sit down at a table and discuss things. It doesnt happen that way. There was a devastating attack against this country w/the towers. Now they are reporting that another attack is imminent. Weve never been more vulnerable in this country than we are now. Do I like war?! NO! Do I want to see any more soldiers die?! NO! It breaks my heart to see the pictures of those soldier who have died at such young ages. Then to hear of the ones injured for life.

Invading a country does not make you "strong and tough." He had no plan of action or even a plan as how to win. He just jumped w/out thinking. Now we are going to do it again?! He should have been willing to do what it took to win after getting this whole mess started; rather than worrying about public opinion. Kennedy did it. He took a chance on starting a war but he did what he felt was necessary for the security of our country. He made a tough choice and decision. Could Obama?!

Stop living in a dream world w/your head in the clouds,stop being so d**n naive and accept the world that we live in. It didnt work w/Carter. It hasnt worked w/Bush. It wont work w/Obama. I am very curious to see how their plans will unfold. I'm Dutch and we have universal health care here, but I was born into this system, so was my mother. It came at a point in time when people had very little money so it was more a gift then a burden to stop worrying about health issues. But America doesn't have that now. I mean, if they now have to pay extra for something they don't need yet, there are going to be some questions. In the long run it might be appreciated, but it will take time.
