Plane Crash at Baseball Game in Alaska
Uploaded by: PannerVision
Video Description:
This is the famous "Plane Crash Game" -- as seen on ESPN, FOX Sports, "World's Most Amazing Videos" (etc.), and vidclip websites around the Internet. Over a million views on YouTube alone... which is amazing, considering that nobody died. Just think of how many hits there would be if one or two people had been freakishly injured or snuffed!
The Cameraman and Producer is Todd Dennis; Gero von Dehn makes the "Crazy Landing" call. Gero is now lead singer for the Pittsburgh, PA metal group "Von Dane"
The good news (I guess.. don't know if I want this guy flying again) is that all four people on board survived. The unbelievable news is that the pilot's daughter was playing soccer on the field in the background when it happened, and rushed to her father's aid!!

a) "No way did that just happen" - Yes it did.
b) Everyone running over despite the risk of things blowing up. Ok ... this is radical but you are supposed to run AWAY.
Forget driver ed. Let's do disaster management classes.
yes, you ignore the distraction and continue playing as if nothings happened. its call focus and thats what these players (not very good ones at that) lack
do you see derek jeter dashing out to the parking lot during the middle of the game to check up on car crashes? the correct is answer is NO and thats because he's a professional

c) the coaches players and announcers conducting themselves like this is a jefferson city sandlot game. they should have ignored the outside interference and continued on with the game. i believe the left fielder was the first to leave the field-of-play. his team should had been forced to forfeit
you do like baseball dont you? you know, americas pastime? maybe your problem is that your anti-american and dont even know it yet.
i dont care what kind of talent you would have had. you wouldnt had survived my first round of cuts based upon your bad attitude

your missing my point sir. the plane didnt crash on the field of play but rather a totally separate field. no need to bring the game to a halt thank you very much. the ump blew it, the coaches blew it, and the players blew it
from what im concerned the jury is still out on whether or not your anti-american if you cant wrap your head around this mix-up
You are obviously an anti-american communist. How dare you insult the great American institution of baseball by suggesting that this noble game be interrupted by some dipshit who is practicing stunts over a ballfield. Its people like you who give baseball a bad rep. This idiot pilot was clearly not only in foul territory, the infield fly rule was in effect so there was absolutely no need to even cast a glance at this interruption. He was automatically ruled out--just like you---OUT.
Do you not realize the Goldpanners were in a hotly contested pennant race at the time? Sure, let's break our concentration so we can gawk at this stupid pilot, in the meantime we lose to the Rattlers? Sheeesh I think NOT.
