But since you believe it, let me tell you about my job. I am an astronaut model who also plays football in the NFL. Anyway, back to the issue... I have been in foreign countries (Canada, England, France) for both severe things and slight problems, and the service was much lower

I think it best not to use Don's page here for further discussion on anything other than what his film is about. It is your own page on YouTube that you created (where you state you are 35 amongst other things) from which I gathered facts about you. Perhaps you did choose to lie which, if so, is very helpful since it would be the nail in your own coffin and obviously unsubstantiated arguments. I love the "I have been in foreign countries..." Please write a letter to your local newspaper urging them to cover SB-840 and to inform the public about these issues.
The people here arguing that their experience in a foreign hospital was bad could be telling the truth. I doesn't matter. When the World Health Organization ranks the U.S. health care system 37th in the world they have looked at the overall out comes of millions of people to reach their conclusions.

FYI to all-In my experience caring for my sister in Canada, foreigners-especially Americans-coming into Canada were certainly not treated as well as citizens. Canadian MDs and facilities felt overwhelmed by Americans especially the last 10 years & were honest with me about that when I was there. While my sister (who died there of cancer) as a citizen was treated far better than my family in Kaiser hospice in the USA, I as an American was not welcomed re getting care. Our choices affect others!

Yes, China does owe 363 billion dollars, but the USA owes 13.7 trillion dollars, of which bonds are only 6.5 trillion dollars. I believe that brings the United States' debt to 7.2 trillion dollars.

This is why I support HR 676! This takes the "for profit" insurance out of the equation. This is not a bill, it is proposal, and we can work off of this and make health care as a social service such as the fire and police department. Please support this bill. Also, goggle HR 676, decide for yourself, but please educate yourselves. Your lives depend on it.

You are absolutely correct, public schools do steal your money. Fire stations are different however because the government has an oblagation to protect your property. This is just one of the methods to insure your property is protected. I'm not sure what you mean by public toilets. In public facilities they should be there, other places that is stealing your money.

Oh no, LOL if the government is "obliged" to "protect" my property, then they shouldn't be using my money and "steal" it, according to you. It's like an infant paying her mother for every pint of breast milk. Her mom has an "obligation" but the child pays? Forests are far away from us. Why should I be paying for forest fire containment? First off, the government has NO oblagatiion to supply citizens with healthcare. If they do, that is going above and beyond what government originally was meant to do. Government is simply created to protect citizens from each other. Meaning no one can kill you, take what you have, or tell you what you can and cannot do. Since when is it their oblagation to extend a person's life? What next, anytime a person has a poor life, the government has to supply them with money?

Aw, calm down now, "Government is simply created to protect citizens from each other." Then why do we have public schools? Last time I checked, the constitution does not have "build fire stations and police department in every county" stipulated to it. LOL Don't worry, the Universal Health Care for California has already been passed and just awaiting for the Governator, who enjoyed socialized health care in Austria, to sign it. Public schools went not implemented until much further along. How many times do I need to explain this, I don't support public schools, I believe they are wrong. However, they are already established. You are correct, those aren't in the Constitution, but all citizens are guaranteed life, liberty, and property. Health is not life. A right to life means that no one can take it away. Simply not providing healthcare does not take someone's life away. Tell me we have a right to property, does that mean we need a 100-acre farm as well? Life does not include healthcare simply because that is a means to extending it, not the right itself. If you want to enhance your rights, etc, that is your own responsiblity. Are we going to force everyone to own a gun as well?
