As far as the existence of god is concerned- the burden of proof lies on the person who makes the claim. MEANING: if you say you can fly or breathe underwater and claim you simply wish to do neither, you fail at logic. God has yet to be proven or disproven, if you're in either camp.

The part about the snake having to crawl on its belly not being a punishment is a little off, considering that it was believed that in the Bible days, serpents had four legs. God giving serpents that punishment is why they don't have legs today.

religious ppl can't believe in science. you can't say you believe carbon dating in geology, evolution in biology and yet you still trust the bible. that is idiotic if you think you can believe both. not all science contradicts religion but a good amount does. there is a reason 93% of scientists are atheist or agnostic

@AllenRockwell: There's some rather impressive early artwork of the Eve/apple/snake debacle - I wish I could remember the artist, or even the title of the work, but the "snake" is depicted as not only having limbs but is essentially a short scaly humanoid!
