What a colossal waste of energy and resources. While the serious world is arguing on reducing carbon footprints and reducing independency on oil, these chumps are making this evermore expensive crap. Disgraceful.

We could reduce our energy expenditure and phase out our species altogether, but what purpose would that serve us, as humans?

Cost is a delusion; the question isn't "How much does it cost?" The question is do we have the resources?" And of cours this is a big resounding YES.
