it is not question of traction!! If you read car magazines, mitsu do 0-60 mph in 6,2 sec, vette in 4,1! the question is: the mitsu is tuned very hard! I think about 400 hp or more (is possible and easy, qith an engine like mitsu's)

Evo does 6.2 sec 0-60? where are u getting your information? the new Ralliart with less hp does it in 5.5 sec. and this evo is only slightly tuned. it only takes a $1000 of mod for an Evo to run 12s 1/4mile. Search youtube for "vishnu performance".

I've read in "evo uk" (the most famous sportscar magazine in europe): the evo X do 0-100 kph in 6 sec +/- (too weight, the evo IX was about 1450 kg, the evo X 1580 kg). the new impreza sti use only 5,2 sec!
in any case, for having 400 hp by the new aluminium block of evo X, you have only to increase the boost of the turbo, change exhaust, and, obviously, did a proper chiptuning.

That Z06 is bad to slow. Our C6 Z06 slighlty Tuned to 600HP run a 11.1 with Michelin Pilot Sport Tires. A stock Z06 should run mid to high 11's. But a 12.7 ?! Thats to slow, bad driver...

if you noticed the evo with that turbo of course started out quicker but once they got up to higher speeds the corvette smoked it.

the turbo matters off the start mostly as you can see because the vette caught up quickly. my opinion i would have a vette over a evo but two nice cars.
