If humans were just another animal and wolves were smart and in turn successful, they would probably harm the environment too, and have the save problems as us. It's the intelligence that leads to success, not the morality, and that's why I believe that any other smart animal would build things that harm the planet and overpopulate like we have. Another point to take into consideration is the dynamic possibilities of human nature, while animals have static natures.

What I mean by this is that humans do bad things, they also do good things. I always hear misanthropists saying something akin to "Animals don,t destroy the environment (yes they do) start wars (wars are just animals fighting on larger scale), or murder (yes they do) like humans!" As you can see, bad things human do are also done by animals. But do animals build hospitals? Do animals give presents from the heart to others?

Will animals risk their life to save others like firefighters do (did you know that a mother wolf will not fight to the death to protect her pups; if she's in danger of dying she'll leave them to be killed)? Do animals even care about anyone besides themselves? What I mean by this is that a bear will only care about itself, all other animals are food or competition. I a fellow bear is drowning in a river, will another bear save it? No, it won't.

Meanwhile some elementary school student in Asia saved several classmates from an earthquake. Humans will even risk it all to save another animal that isn't even of their species. I seen guys on Animal Planet spend hours rescuing a deer, or walking out onto thin ice the save a dog. Animals do sometimes save humans, but it's almost always because they know and like the human (a dog saving his owner). Humans will save about anything, whether they've had a previous relation with the subject or not.

You interact with humans every day, and they don't try to kill you. Now try to live with wolves without getting killed. The bottom line here is that although humans can be eviler than animals (though animals are pretty ruthless to begin with, since they're amoral), we can also be much nicer than animals, and often are. We have Hitler (who loved animals and supported animal rights, by the way), but we also have Ghandi.

Another interesting I learned by watching a Discovery Channel special on the Amazon Indians. The scientists said that greed and selfishness was rarely observed among the indian tribe. This indian tribe lived like they were still the stone age, completely isolated from civilization and with no modern technology. I think that this shows that evil humans arent evil because theyre humans, its because society has made them that way.

I just gave you a one page reason why I think you're wrong, and you don't even read it? First off, you know all those things you hate, killing, hunting, and the like? Those actions are ANIMAL instincts. Our hunting for fun and killing others is a trait that's been carried over from when we were simple animals. Humans are at their worst when they give in to their animal instincts, they're at their best when they rise above them.

Animals do kill, animals have harmed the environment (gophers, cows to name a few), and humans have done plenty of good things. Give me a break. Do any of you actually know what is like to live with wolves/hybrids? I have 7 hybrids and the call at the end is what I hear many a time. I also have the fighting and the no so nice behavor. I can not live without them.
