Uploaded by: southernavenger
Video Description:
When it was reported that Idaho Senator Larry Craig had been arrested for allegedly soliciting homosexual sex in an airport bathroom, it was speculated that the "family values" Republican had damaged his own party. The Southern Avenger has a different take on the Senator's political demise.

Sorry I don't read ... ( 1 year ago by stodles)
Sorry I don't read books like that, it allows one person too much time to work on you unopposed.
I know family is valued! It's too valued!
By "raise their kids" I meant with public services. The way I see it you shouldn't be allowed income security or medicare if you have a kid, because having a kid is a conscious decision predicated on having the resources to do so. Get an abortion! That's what it's there for!
But Enrique's ... ( 1 year ago by tarzanofcouches)
But Enrique's Journey isn't one of those books that's either pro or anti illegal immigration. It's merely a telling of the incredibly hard journey that immigrants from Central America go through. It's not trying to make people feel one way or the other about immigration, it's just laying the facts of the journey out there.
And plus, you still ... ( 1 year ago by tarzanofcouches)
And plus, you still can't deny that if somebody helped their countries out, they'd be in a lot better shape and the amount of people leaving would probably go down.
Oh I totally agree. ... ( 1 year ago by stodles)
Oh I totally agree. We'd be better off outsourcing because companies could do things a lot cheaper (sans the jobs that have to be in the US), and could pay higher real wages. Problem is big business (trite I know) gets to pass off the welfare costs to us.
Folks against outsourcing and immigration are just like folks against abortion and single mothers.
Until the costs of ... ( 1 year ago by Itopenedupmyeyes)
Until the costs of mass immigrations and outsourcing are no longer socialized and paid for by taxes paid by American workers, the system is unsustainable and cannot be supported.

family values are ... ( 1 year ago by sploogersmoof)
family values are just code language that poloticians use for christian values. i dont care what people believe, but i dont want some 2000 year old book ruling my country. if it does, i see a large amount of good ol' fashioned fag drags in our future.("get me some rope and a truck margeret!") wich is another thing i sinceraly dont want. that combined with the hipocracy and corruption is why i hate republicans.

also, since when does america have a culture? arent we a melting pot? illegal immegrants arent destroying anything and the goverment should put more controll on corporations because. contary to popular belief, immegrants arent taking jobs from americans, the indians and chinese are.
Actually, ... ( 1 year ago by n8glenn)
Actually, immigration should be easy, it should be encouraged, but people here illegally should be immediately deported so they can immigrate legally. That way people would immigrate legally and pay taxes, and there would be no problem.

I truly wish it was ... ( 1 year ago by tarzanofcouches)
I truly wish it was that simple. One problem is that it takes a lot of time and money to immigrate legally. Many people that want to come here don't have much money or time. I'm not defending coming here illegally, but it's not as horrible as people make it. Plus, many people come here to help out or find their families, not cause trouble. If I was in that position I would think of coming here illegally.
That's what I'm ... ( 1 year ago by n8glenn)
That's what I'm saying, it shouldn't be so hard to immigrate legally. If you do it illegally, you don't pay taxes but you get government services.

I have slightly different opinions than you on immigration, avenger, but you nailed the neo-cons on their BS "family values" garbage. this country is in big trouble, and neither party is going to do anything about it...
No one disagrees ... ( 1 year ago by patriotplus)
No one disagrees that the USA is in significant trouble - on all fronts. A moratorium should be placed on ALL immigration immediately. The borders could be secured overnight if Bush cared about the "real" Americans. Legal immigration must be completely changed -- remember Teddy Kennedy was a primary sponsor back in '64. Need I say more - Oh, and, Teddy needs immediate retirement. Suggestions?
Violent crime rate? ... ( 1 year ago by milincoln)
Violent crime rate? Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, Ed Gein, John Wayne Gacy, Dennis Rader, Henry Lee Lucas, last time I checked these sick and demented killers were not Hispanic. Why is it that in every single clip you post on here you have to bash hispanic people? Did some hispanic guy just kick the piss out of you and this is your nerdy way to try and get some revenge? I am the True Southern Avenger. The South shall rise again.

Wow! Good video ... ( 1 year ago by robertinboise)
Wow! Good video essay and well presented arguments.
The public's reaction to Sen. Craig almost contains the answer to the complex questions you raise: Sure everybody laughs at this admitted law-breaker; but rather than do anything the people of Idaho hide their eyes and do nothing.
Americans are told they are impotent to change government and sadly they believe it.
I guess a plasma HD TV seems more important than taking action to end governmental corruption and injustice.
No, not easy at all ... ( 1 year ago by gzies1)
No, not easy at all to immigrate legally. My coworker waited almost 3 years for his foreign wife to join him here, paid thousands of dollars for immigration paperwork and needed an Immigration attorney to guide him thru the jungle of paperwork. Ask him or his wife how easy it is to immigrate to USA legally
For every one ... ( 1 year ago by InfidelOnTheGo)
For every one Republican who is a hypocrit on Family Values, there are ten Democrats who are for the enviroment yet use private planes or are against "big business" but own stock and accept money from "big business". Why that is not news, and when humans make personal mistakes is, I do not know.

yes ! Blame it all on the Republicans. We should have a worker state where all wealth is redistributed and we all live in government owned co-ops.

he is not blaming the republican party-both sides of the coin are preaching "family values" while their pants are down and sticking it to the american people

Yes thank you. After re-listening to this video, I can only think that I made my post without listening to the whole clip. I do agree with this gentlemans view point.
