i will always have a personal vendetta against pigs. has nothing to do with a ticket or any other bullshit. its their attitude. they think they are special. they dont help. they blindly generate revenue(tickets, fines) they serve and protect the property of corporations. not people. shoplifter at wal-mart the cop is there in 5 minutes. somebody steals my bike the cop never comes. good day! (flips the bird)

lol, oh I'll respond alright... you don't know what you are talking about, lol, and you're response sounds silly and ill informed. If YOU knew the drill, you'd know that most agencies are doing a lot of training and have for some time since Rodney King, to keep their officers from opening them up to a huge lawsuit by hitting someone with a flashlight unless it is as a LAST RESORT, which is the whole message in this video. Such use of flashlight by LEO opens departments to major liability.
Here is something ... ( 1 week ago by imanidiot911truther)
Here is something about an LAPD officer:
"Officer Randy Simmons was shot and killed as he and other members of the Los Angeles SWAT Team made entry into a home at approximately 12:30 am. The team had been deployed to the home after a suspect inside called 911 and claimed to have murdered three family members.
As the team entered, the suspect opened fire,
He is survived by his wife, two children, parents, and two sisters."
The officer died, and suspect killed another. Explain that.

i tried your link i cant make it work. regardless, you know as well as i do nomatter what you research you will find pro-police or anti-police attitudes. goes with anything. ultimately YOU will belive whatever you want.
is red wine good for you or bad for you? how bout peanut butter? coffee? cops? depends what you read.
Exactly my point. ... ( 1 week ago by imanidiot911truther)
Exactly my point. That king of attitude just gets you in trouble. Having a vendetta against something that will ALWAYS win is a foolhardy one. I did not cuss at you, not did I attack you personally, only expressed my concerns. I would appreicate it if you can return the same respect. You do realize, if your bike is stolen the license plate and the model is recorded and the next time that is pulled over, it is flagged? It's hard to catch a stolen car after it's been gone a long time. Bye (waves)

Good point, and a ... ( 1 week ago by imanidiot911truther)
Good point, and a valid one! Many departments are actually switching flashlights to prevent potential misuse. The Maglites were never intended to be used as a baton. Your point in the fact that they shouldn't be used as a primary defense tool is valid. But, many LEOs choose to have Maglites is that when entering a potential "ambush" area, they can have them out not only for light but for self-defense - when drawing your baton is not warranted and will only instigate things.
Make sense, ma'am?

Well, sir, if you're not encouraging violence but make your local law enforce do work then I'm sure that's a good thing. Each department is different.

I am a logger and i can tell you personally that LeO's have died more than any of us. Yes our jobs are dangerouse but not close to Law enforcement.
So what your saying ... ( 1 week ago by hunterandlogger1977)
So what your saying is that there good for nothing.. Let me tell you something, what about the kids that have been abused and neglected and the cops came and took their parents to jail and made sure the kids went to a better home. what about taking innocent children out of meth labs and around drug users as well. You really need to get a grip on reality. You are showing so much dis respect to this video.
what im saying is, ... ( 1 week ago by backasore)
what im saying is, their job is less dangerous than most think, mainly beacuse of the media. i think this video is protraying similar views, so im not really disrespecting it.

backasore I'm seriouse go onto policelink and you will see. I was shocked cause once a week I would actually get an e-mail from a news site that would say about an officer died in the line of duty. Just because you don't see it on national news doesn't mean it's on local news.. If you really did research it then you would see it diffrent..
of course a website ... ( 1 week ago by backasore)
of course a website named policelink is going to lean opinions in one way. you will find whatever you want to find on the internet. its up to you to belive what you want. we obviously have different beliefs. as you can see i have done my research.
backasore.. you ... ( 1 week ago by hunterandlogger1977)
backasore.. you really must not be educated at all cause you really need to do real research. what i have told you before is that you need get a reality check and do some real research. Yes that link does provide info for being in law enforcement but it also lets you in on local news.. so what are you saying that the news is lying when ever it says that an officer is down?

Very nice posting, ... ( 1 week ago by conniebryan)
Very nice posting, backasore. It is true that law enforcement is not AS dangerous as some cops like to portray, and it is amazing to me how many of them do not approach the job as 'public servants'. I have personally witnessed this over and over. The wrong people going into the career and being accepted in an 'us against them' good ole' boy fraternity. And those good cops who don't conform often get railroaded out...yet they are the ones we need in that job. The job is dangerous, admittedly.
Yes, before i found ... ( 3 days ago by conniebryan)
Yes, before i found a sense of humor to approach the topic, it obviously disappointed me too...too many in the career who don't belong there, and too many who cover up their abuse in a good ole boy system. It needs to change, and in order to change it, we have to stop pretending it doesn't exist, when it is all too common. LAPD has made some progress, but has a long, long way to go.
