Were it not for your You Tube clip the copy of my DVD of Eyes Wide Shut would still be on the shelf of a Brisbane DVD store. I purchased purely on interest sparked by watching your clip.
I'm not sure I believe in Illuminati or any of that cobblers but I absolutely love your work. I can't think of any film show on TV or Radio that I look forward to as much as your clips. It was a real shame to find out that they aren't going to be on You Tube.

BTW Bit of left field ask: have you though about doing Paul Verhoeven's Star Ship Troopers? I saw it on the TV the other day.Although ostensibly a story about mankind's heroic struggle against CGI insects, it does takes on a whole new dimension in the post 911. The depiction of jingoism in an American-style society under attack was remarkably pre⋅scient in light of some of the insanities of the War on Terror.

you're one of the few ppl to request starship troopers, but i def think it's worth a review. It anticipates and paralles the whole 911 / buenos airos (can't remember how to spell that lol) and the invasion of middle east / clendathu. it's even got bunker busters lol. everyone thought starship troopers was stupid but it was a very clever parody of the idiocy of war.

Possible through legalities, you could use parts of pictures, acronyms, subtle but obvious hints and above all, flattery. Don't take my word for it just check it out.

Got it pretty much sorted now. Have been quoting 'fair use' laws at the start of the vids. Only problem is when a company does decide to make a complaint Youtube takes their side even though the correct legal notices are on the videos. Doesn't matter though. Anything not allowed on here I just post on the website.

There is no stopping a force spined with the medias, economy, and education, but youtube gives us hope doesn't it. The hope that there might be one spot, one "lobby". Where we might have the privilege to be free, and express ourselves freely. Sadly, despite the wonderful effort of millions of people communicating and sharing thoughts blindly and openly. Youtube is controlled.. Rob i can't say enough about your analysis videos. You spark old triggers and light new fires. Don't Stop For Them. bw

I talked to you about the shining review remember me... I went to the video store and baught some of them like clockwork orange but i reccomend you do a review on "IT" by Stephen King tht is a rather old movie like back in the 80's so i bieleve you wouldnt get a coyright complaint becuase ppl put that movie on youtube part by part and i think you are a rather inteligent man to were you wont get caaught ;]

Thanks for the compliment :) Have you read the book of 'IT'? I recommend it - one of King's better efforts. As time's gone on I've generally found that it's certain production companies like FOX who object to me posting vids about their films. Fortunately Warner Bros distrubute Kubrick's films and they tend not to complain. Any reviews of FOX owned films I just put out as free downloads from my site.

I saw the original Psycho once when I was younger but after I saw your review and analysis I went out and bought it. What a classic movie that is! I would not have purchased the movie if I didnt see your vids and I agree the studio's only harm themselves by removing them. How many people are looking to buy the OG Psycho these days?.....not many

It is true that even movies that I didn't like at first, I've bought after seeing your video's! You even changed the way I look at movies, and how I make my own art.

But I wanted to comment because I told you a long long time ago that the actor who plays Burke Dennings in "The Exorcist" actually died in the making of the film. I have now proove to back this statement up. Check the youtube video "Didn't You Used To Be Satan? - Part 2" and at 4:25 actress Ellen Burstyn is telling this.
Well, I know you might have foregotten I ever wrote this to you, because it's already more then a year ago now, but I remember. ;)

Mr. Ager, I love what you're doing. I only found your reviews a week ago, and I am a big fan already! Many years ago, after seeing 2001, about 11 or 12 years ago, I have always been haunted (for lack of a better word) by the bedroom scene, especially when the astronaut was sitting alone at the dinner table. I connected, even with all that ground breaking imagery, I connected with an overwhelming feeling of being alone like that! So I sought out this movie again to find some kind of resolution.

What can be done to persuade Warner Bros Home Video to remaster "Barry Lyndon" in Hi-Def & release it on Blu-Ray? As of now, it's the only Kubrick film from "2001"-on not available in 16x9 or Hi-Def, and arguably it's the one that would benefit most from the fidelity of the HD image. Anyway, excuse the tangent. It seems your analysis vids have been re-instated here, as I've been working through your Kubrick reviews with satisfaction that I am not alone in my appreciation of this great artist.

This issue is now dealt with folks. youtube has a "fair use" option which users can cite in response to copyright challenges. I've used it several times to keep my vids up. Thanks for the comments folks. i'm now switching off comments for this vid :)
