I'm from HK - I remember people arguing whether Hakka were Han or not. It shouldn't matter, for sure. But Minnan are Han, so it seems like Hakka would be Han. I've never belived Han are just "Northern" or any of that stuff.

As for Native Americans (I used to work for the Hocak tribe), there's almost no such thing as "100%" native anymore.
Also--even more interesting--unless ones own grandparents--both sets--came directly off a boat, it's not technically possible for any "white" American to not have at least some native American blood and some African American blood.
