A little tour by Saint Tropez during Summer 2005. Not for paparazzi/glamour purposes, but an overview of the place near the harbour by day: tourists, boats, the market, leisure, etc. I loved the market. For tourists, "normal" not famous people or millionaires stars, Saint Tropez is surely fascinating, a place to go many times!

It's amazing there, I've been there very often. But a little part is filmed in Sainte Maxime (from 2:12 - 2:19).

You're right jimgarrett2, this short part of the vid is Sainte Maxime. You really know the place! Cool! I filmed this part while my kid was playing in the small park, on the way back to the hotel (We were staying near "Les Issambres" beach). I love the French Riviera, we try to go there as often as we can, but it's not easy when you move a lot to other countries, like we do. Cheers!

So, I guess you like Saint Tropez? I don't know Miami (nor Texas), but it doesn't matter, because I never compare places, I just try to feel the good things each one have to offer and keep that in my head to decide whether or not to go back there again. Saint Tropez is surely a place I would go back again and again and again.

Having fun at a new place always depends more on you than any other thing. Even if it's crowded on summer, you can have a lot of fun at Saint Tropez, and this even if you don't have a big fancy expensive boat. I wish you can go there someday and have nice moments! Visit the whole French Riviera, it's worth it!

Don't get mad at me because you blew all your hard-earned money from your job as a clerical flunky on a cheesy trip to St. Tropez and just got hit by rows and rows of T-shirt vendors and over-priced nasty french food.

I agree. It depends on the attitude of the person. I've been to France three times. Each time it was wonderful. The people were so nice and friendly. The police even let me park illegally for a couple of hours so I could sight see. That's hospitality.
