One thing I don't really like about black metal (take it easy, just wait and read it) is that guitar solos are not rare, but not frequent. With the exceptions of Mayhem, Celtic Frost, Bathory, and Emperor, I can't really think of any bands whose guitarists solo in their songs. It just makes the song more intersting, in my humble opinion.
