Yeah, I could tell you what he did. That is not a genuine Mac OS. It is in fact, linux. It is the OS X86 version running under Darwin OS. Its got some of the capabilities of a normal Mac computer, but is lacking support and in most cases does not recognize your video card.
Really, the OS is actually illegal because it is a Copyright infringement. Since Apple was not the creator of that OS.

muk546, I agree. I had a MBP in the past and its performance was not much higher than that of the MacBook. Sure, it was an NVIDIA 8400 card and the OS was Tiger. I ended up returning the MBP and got a MB. Its much more portable and got some power to it.

I do believe this is illegal and against the Digital Millenium Copyright Act and also the Apple Software License Agreement, where you may only install OS X on an Apple labeled computer.

how did this guy get the boot option at the beginning where he has an on screen choice of either vista or leopard? i have the same notebook and i can't figure out how to do it!
