This is a rare combination. These days, every new model weighs more than the one before, and manufacturers keep adding power to compensate. Subaru has done exactly the opposite. Through the same clever engineering that brought the WRX to the U.S. in the first place, the Japanese carmaker has minimized the weight of this more spacious, all-wheel-drive WRX to retain its head-snapping acceleration.

I don't know. I've been looking and looking to see a new WRX on the road here in Nor Cal. I've seen exactly two. A white sedan driven by an Asian man in his late 40's and a gray 5-door driven by a woman in her 30's. These cars are even uglier in person. My hatred grows.

The rear looks like a Saturn ION.

Just saw the sedan. I mean, i can work with the front. The face isnt that bad... but that ass... wtf? looks like it should have a ford emblem in the middle and a focus emblem to the side... Ill stick to the 05 STI until they fix that butt

A well rounded car that will appeal to more than just the rev heads. much quicker pick up due to earlier turbo injection. Just needs a bigger spoiler to finish it off nicely.

The new wrx is for adults who drive fast. They want to grow out of just teens who buy it. The wrx keeps the performance while changing the body style so it won't look so agressive. Adults just don't look right driving the old wrx. This car is just right because you can drive it to places not having to worry about what people might think about you while still owning the streets. Also if you goto your girlfriend's house driving the old wrx, what do u think her parents will think?
