And besides, I don't know if you are aware, but Texas juries are VERY biased and have been statistically noted to convict people regardless of how weak the evidence is. |

| LOL! Oh yeah, the "what if it was you" defence. Mistakes are made and people die and in the case of the death penalty, those who die by mistake is just the price we have to pay. My problem is not with "what if it was you". My problem is that the death penalty should be reinstated and should include murderers, child molesters and rapists and the killing of such individuals who are known to be guilty should be carried out within 30 days. Questionable guilt deserves an appeal. |

Those who choose to kill, rape, molest, torture, confine, beat and batter and set fire to other human beings are the dangerous ones and they should ALL be killed. If you want to live in a good, caring and decent society you HAVE to remove all evil the moment it reveals itself. There should be no murderers, rapists or child molesters in our prisons. | Thats a damn depressing& touching story,but as gut-wrenching as a few cases may be,I don't waver a bit in my support of the death penalty.I feel sorry for him, and I also feel sorry for the 4000+ US murder victims in the US.I'm no muslim and disagree with many of their practices, but why is the murder rate so low in Saudi Arabia,etc?Its because potential murderers that there's no sympathy for their kind,just a sure,quick death. |
