I was born too late for 95% of the music I listen to. For instance whenever I hear that someone got to watch Hendrix live in the late sixties and they say it was too loud I get pissed ( only happened a few times )

to endrizo:
same thing people used to say about them back in the days: " this is not music because they use this electric guitar and simple chords".
I bet you if they were youngsters now they would be pushing buttons very creatively, because nostalgia is not what their music is about. they were using advanced technology for their time.
there is plenty of good bands today, you just have to hear without prejudice and with the same attitude people like Eric Burdon would have.

EASY NOW, COWBOY...There are many good bands out there, but our media record companies only let you ear what they want you to hear. The talent is there, it's pushed aside to make room for celebrity-like figures.
Until we stop this from happening, very little talent will ever be heard or recognized. Also remember that not everyone with talent can perform for the masses.

Yes, when one is getting older one think that old music is better than new But, is not this true? The new musicians use a lot of technology to help their performances, the result from my point of view is an artificial product, not something genuine and more beautyfull.
