This guy is so far ... ( 10 months ago by parrotflock)
This guy is so far off the chart, it isn't even funny, and to think there are other people that think this is what American NEEDS is even worse! I deal with physical pain every day of my life, and have never needed or wanted pot to deal with my life. I have also seen the destructive side of pot enough to know it is one of the last things that should be legal. To deny this is foolish and dangerous in itself.
Question: Alcohol ... ( 10 months ago by Suolucidir)
Question: Alcohol should or should not be legal?
Question: What is the harm that you have personally seen?

Please explain the destructive side of pot please...
Of course not ... ( 9 months ago by madmonty)
Of course not everyone would have to or want to smoke pot to keep their physical pain at bay, but pretty much if there is a thing like medical marijuana (which is just jargon for marijuana prescribed by a doctor) then it must be for certain (which do exist) that can be cured from the contents of marijuana leaves. I don't smoke pot (and probably would never want to) but i respect when it is needed for something important.
Pretty much what ... ( 9 months ago by madmonty)
Pretty much what parrotflock is identifying is the indirective destructive side of pot. Meaning you can't die from it but you can be die from what it can distract you from, like operating machinery or driving a car.

I have seen my sister, who started with pot, and worked her way up to stronger drugs. This happens countless times, yet you pot heads want to deny it does. You always use the same garbage about alcohol, and there are major differences between them. As a pothead, you can't see that.
No, because it is ... ( 9 months ago by parrotflock)
No, because it is illegal and dangerous, I expect people to respect the law. DUH!
Here's why that ... ( 9 months ago by Suolucidir)
Here's why that argument is flawed:
Your sister isn't hiding from her life with stronger drugs because she started marijuanna, she started marijuanna because she was hiding from her life. Saying "90% of heavy drug users started with pot" is a flawed argument, because it does not address how many pot smokers go on to use harder drugs.
Alcohol lowers inhibitions and is a far better candidate for the label of "gateway drug".
It's illegal, not ... ( 9 months ago by Suolucidir)
It's illegal, not dangerous.
What's mmore important, following the law of following what is right?
Laws change. And not all laws make sense or cover things that the gov't should even have any say about. I'm sure you know of some of the silly laws that made their way onto the books.
i was just laughing ... ( 8 months ago by jwallbanger)
i was just laughing because i noticed your name is parrotflock, and you parrot the DEA propaganda about drugs, and there is certainly a flock of you propaganda squawking parrots out there. just tell us exactly how someone else smoking pot is a danger to you. it's not. someone drinking booze behind the wheel of a car might be, but someone smoking a joint in their house after work? c'mon!
uh, alcohol is the ... ( 8 months ago by jwallbanger)
uh, alcohol is the first drug for most people that "work their way up," that's the truth, but they get around mentioning that by saying pot is the first "illegal" drug most people try. well, alcohol is not only undeniably a drug, but it's illegal for minors, so it is undeniably the most common first illegal drug people try. but, most people who use alcohol don't progress to crack or heroin, neither do most pot users. it's all in how you present the statistics.
Alcohol is an ... ( 8 months ago by anyusmoon1)
Alcohol is an illegal drug... for minors. But I agree with your observations, yet it doesn't negate suolucidir's insightful remarks of which I agree whole-heartedly.
People are knocking themselves unconscious because they cannot come to grips with responsibility and joy for the animated contest of life. Slavery and socialism does this to people who are propped up and stripped of core individuality.
By the way, true individuality is solely rooted in RESPONSIBILITY.
and you believe ... ( 8 months ago by jwallbanger)
and you believe responsibility should be enforced by the police? and that works?
look at what the war on drugs has accomplished, it's criminalized a benign sect of society and bankrolled the black market, yet done nothing to even slow down drug use. and each new generation sees it as pure hypocrisy due to the inherent contradiction of legal, celebrated drunkenness, caffeine and nicotine a national way to get wired, and virtually everyone on psychoactive prescription drugs. it's obvious bullshit
Absolutely not! ... ( 8 months ago by anyusmoon1)
Absolutely not! PARENTS have sole responsiblity for their children. There was a time when children were to be seen and not heard- this was because parents were responsible the acts of their children.
What part of ...'I agree with your observations' did you not understand?
The so called war-on-drugs is a government fiction. It serves to grow the state, a side benefit protects insurance companies and strengthen drug companies.
I agree with you. And I agree with suolucidir.

They can't make money on it, at least up front. Old news. In the 30's the top 3 pharma companies sold medicines derived from and comprised of cannabinoids. WEED people. Kills cancer cells ON CONTACT in an oil form and regenerated brain cells in rats.(phoenixtearsdotcom) It replaces, paper, cotton which require millions of tons of pesticide to grow, and too many things to list.
