Shay: now what?
Soph: I don't actually know. What do we usually do when she leaves?
Krystal: mope around the house for week then go to school and usually just get used to the fact that she's not here
Kevin: well we can't have you doing that. Let's go out.
Krystal: out where
Joe: where ever you want to go
Shay: um remember we don't live here we don't know what there is to do.
Joe: oh right I forgot it's just so comfortable having you guys here. I forgot this your first time to America.
Soph: yeah it does feel really natural. I thought I'd be all (starts jumping up and down and screaming like a typical teenage girls and then stops) when I met you but it's just been really calm. I guess if we met under different circumstances things might have been different.
Nick: I know how you feel
Joe: I think I know how you both feel (looks over towards shay)
Shay: ok enough. This still doesn't solve our problem what are you goin to do to cheer us up.
Kevin: how about we go down to Chicken's. We haven't told em we're back yet.
Joe and Nick: Yeah (really enthusiastically)
Krystal: Whoa hold up who or should I say what is a chicken
Joe: it's a bird with feathers, lays eggs, you can eventually eat it
Nick: Haha Very funny Chicken is her nickname
Soph: Her???
Nick: um yeah she runs the Café in town she gave us our first gig when we were first starting out
Soph: oh ok (sign of relief in her voice) sounds like fun
Kevin: yeah. The rest of you up for it. Oh and it's only about half an hour from the beach if you want to grab your swimsuits too.
Girls: (look at each other) OK
Boys: (smile) well then let's get going shall we.
Krystal: one Question transport.
Kevin: I can drive
Girls (worried look on their faces)
Kevin: what I have my licence I can drive.
Girls: Ok
They all head up stairs and grab their togs, towels and sunscreen. The girls make Sophie take her bikini and borides without a shirt. Well actually it was more like Shay made her do it. And Joe made Nick leave his shirt at home too. Joe and Shay walked out of the room and gave each other a nod and thumbs up. Their plan was working better than ever; especially know they are going to the beach.
Anyway they all pile into the family car, which is actually more like a mini bus than a car, so they all fitted in one car. As Kevin started the car
Joe: Hold on tight he usually drives this thing like a rocket.
Kevin: Shut up unless you'd rather drive
Joe: Ok (starts to get out of the car)
Nick: (Holding him back) NNNNOOOOOO
Girls: (all giggle)
Shay: he can't be that bad
Nick: It's easy to see that you've never been in a car with him driving.
Everyone just laughs
Joe: Yeah I am pretty bad.
Kevin: understatement of the centaury. (Turns the radio up louder so he can't hear Joe's retaliation.)
They blast the Jonas brother album all way into Chickens café. When they walked in the door the place was deserted. There were only a couple of people sitting at the bench. Ok so just a quick description of the café. You walk through the door and there is the service bench on one side kind looked a bar and then their booth seats all along the other wall with table and chairs in the middle and a jukebox at the other end of room.
Kevin Joe and Nick walk straight down to the Jukebox and put on a really old song. The next thing the girls hear is a scream coming from the back room. And then a lady in about her late thirties appears out of nowhere screaming. She runs up to Kevin, Joe and Nick and gives them all a huge hug.
