I don't blame you for saying that. But there are some people that really don't understand it even though they try. It's, like you said, the people that are too ignorant to listen and pay attention to whats going on that make those that try look bad. (I've yet to start watching this anime, though)

I absolutely love it. It's not exactly a typical anime though. It deals heavily with the nature of reality and heavily references several philosophical concepts, and as such can be rather confusing. At the end it's meant for you to draw your own conclusions.

this anime is one of the best i have ever seen yet. ive watched, inuyasha, fma, full metal panic, last exile, flcl and cowboy bebop. And this clearly is the best anime out there so detailed and artistic i love it in every aspect.

both are right because the series is constantly questioning reality it's impossible to tell what is actually happening many times, it's never made clear if something is real or a hallucination of lain or another character

Cowboy Bebop are amazing. Inu Yasha &&
FMA are wayy over rated. FMA is decent at times.
I bought this anime because it was on sale. Bought three of the DVDs for only $35 (Only $4 more for one anime DVD). I'm missing number 4. I've seen most of this series and I can say, this is one of THE CLASSICS of anime.
