Nick Drake - Fly
Uploaded by: madcap66laughs
Video Description:
Please give me a second grace
Please give me a second face
I've fallen far down
The first time around
Now I just sit on the ground in your way
Now if it's time to recompense for what's done
Come, come sit down on the fence in the sun
And the clouds will roll by
And we'll never deny
It's really too hard for to fly.
Please tell me your second name
Please play me your second game
I've fallen so far
For the people you are
I just need your star for a day.
So come, come ride in my my street-car by the bay
For now I must know how fine you are in your way
And the sea sure as I
But she won't need to cry
For it's really too hard for to fly.

Nick Drake so many love you now !
at the risk of sounding like a monster, I'd say the quality of his work would have deteriorated had not offed himself and gained the popularity that he deserved..
Now I sound like a jerk..I don't know..
I'm just glad he gave something taht alleviates the general shittiness of this world to some extent..
Something unusual and precious about this boy, is all I can say. Without even trying, he touched everyone that knew him.
It has been among my favorites since, but I must say he has almost been a little famous most of the time. He was often mentioned when Jeff Buckley has his much too short time.
There exist a (cd) boxset whith all material (Nick goes best on vinyl)
The airwaves are not agents of satan...They just have no sense of class or awareness of things better... I don't even listen to 'them' anymore. There's no need when there's things like Nick Drake to discover, which I have only recently... Love ya Nick...
I prefer the 'what the heck' theory, i.e. no planned suicide and no accidental death either
