The two major sects in Islam are the Sunni sect and the Shiite sect. All other 'sects' stem from these and with them came new "traditions" and "cultures".
Truthfully... gender segregation is a Wahhabi/Salafi innovation, cultural, and not religious at all. Cultural excuses of why there is separation, are just that, excuses. And this type/extant of separation did not occur in the days of the prophet.
But It can be deduced that it would be those that focus more on worship and less on culture/tradition.
(Nothing i have said is being said by me as a matter of fact. And I say it with the up most of respect!)
