I like this video interpretation. Thank you for sharing. I even thought the religious srpinklings added to the abstract. Art is humanities. "I see picutres of people falling down", I interpret that some people see Falling down as sinning.

Thanks Dave. Kinda like putting a square peg in a round hole? Then again, that's the fun of my "Imaginings"?? Like an optical illusion, do you see the goblet or the faces? Depends, I guess, on what each of us bring to the table.

It's just "pictures of people". Not pictures of evil. There is no "intended" Christian context in this song. If you look hard enough you can find any context you like in eveything.

There were actually two versions of this song--her version, which appeared on "Mister Heartbreak," and a remixed version called "This is the Picture (Excellent Birds)," which was included on Peter Gabriel's album "So."
