Bryce #06: Landscape 3 (River Valley)

The River Valley is one of my favorite Bryce landscapes for two reasons: 1.) It amazes me how much you can do with a simple mountain. 2.) Simple changes (like the angle, textures, and sky) make a huge difference in how it looks.

I have used this for a movie as well. If you connect the ends of your valley (i.e. circular or square) you can actually do a fly through that loops. I suggest using high resolution terrain (perhaps the highest) if you plan to do so. Much slower animation, but it will be beautiful.

great program in many ways, but its rendering raytracing is not that realistic looking, there's all sorts of transitional glitches and the camera control is eminently unstable and uncontrollable. TEll me tutor if you know what I'm talking about. ALos, I cant get a consistent rotate, like multiple times spinning around.

MAN, PLS, CAN Y ANSWER ME, IF IN THIS PROGRAM CAN MAKE ANIMATION? not very complex anim, but somethink like a river that flow slowly. (24-48 frames in loop)

Bryce can do passable animation. In fact there were a couple movies made entirely in Bryce, nothing spectacular. (Look up Planetary Traveler and Infinity's Child)
The animation controls actually seem pretty powerful.
