the whole definition of conservative and liberal has changed.
conservative now means preserving the status quo, instead of preserving the constitution and individual liberties.
soon the label neo con will lose the "neo" and become just conservative. and liberals were never for the constitution to begin with.
so although it is already so, it will become even more so in the future that both will be unconstitutional philosophies.

Oh, I thought neo-con would be translated as a short for "new con-artist". I dont think Ron Paul is a conservative the way I see it(in my country most people equate this more or less with right-wing, aristochrat capitalists), he just seems more like a sound, clear-thinking, sympathetic humanist to me.

Actually, classical liberals were the ones who wrote the Constitution. I don't even try to use the words conservative or liberal anymore, though. They've been stolen too many times by various groups to have any real meaning anymore.

In todays society a better definition of a news program would be a music video. The music comes on, the clips fly by, the clips fly by, usually 5 seconds of a 30 minute speech, and then the rest is basically spin from whatever channel it's on. The only decent and wonderful channel I thank god for every day is Cspan.
