Hummm ... shy ... hummm ... you ... hummm ... not sure I'm SO conviced :cP Just kidding ;c) believe me or not, I AM the shyest person on earth so I can relate perfectly to what you are saying ...
It's never easy to come out and speak up to strangers, I haven't done it a lot myself, but once you start you'll see that it's not so hard after-all ... only advise I'd give is to watch your audience cause some people out there are far less kind than the image they try to give ...

I've said it before but stickam is a different ballgame to youtube. With youtube you're far less aware of yourself. On stickam I can get quite self conscious but then you kind of relax and it's fine. It's just that being seen is constant, more so if you go live, and it's a bit odd but fun.

Oddly enough I seem to be the opposite. While on stickam I'm more or less relaxed and when I'm trying to make my blogs for youtube I'm REALLY selfconcious. Thanks for commenting

I don't know about in real life (still lost in that zone), but on YouTube I work over the faults in my communication because I realize I have the power to edit them out. In a 2 minute vlog, I probably repeat myself 3 or 4 times, and then just edit it down to what *I* enjoy. I've found that makes me feel more comfortable. In real life mistakes aren't editable. :^)

Well Evr...I know as far as myself, I get into a frame of mind that says "Ya know...I want people to know me right outta the gate...the REAL me...I"m gonna say whatever and the ones who like me, thats fine...the ones who dont? Fuck em'". Maybe thats just me though.

The way that I'm able 2 say what's on my mind despite being shy is to NOT focus on myself & instead focus on the other person and the message I want 2 convey. It's a matter of "acting" sort of along the lines of cognitive behavioral psychology. The idea is that u change your thoughts and therefore your actions follow. BTw, I also like talking 2 all types of folks. My sense of confidence only comes from not caring 2 much what others think. As we mature, we are forgiving.
